Does anyone know a site where I can find a strength of schedule list for each season, including sos before the season, i.e. based on last years records and after the season, ie based on that years results?
Thanks in advance.

Is there any site that dumps actual results into a spreadsheet? If so, you could calculate it for yourself with all the flexibility you want.

But if I remember correctly, the Pats were in the top 3 hardest schedules heading into last season.

the pats have to face 6 playoff teams from last year + teams like miami who will be much better this year. at the steelers on sunday nigh thats no cake walk the lions who are not a great team but it's thanks giveing so they will bring there A game the browns who looked great to end the season the bears should be much better this year... and the bills gave the pats two of there best games last year.

Better? Probably. Much better? Not so much.

Besides, every team has to play a minimum of four games against playoff teams from last year.

2005 Strength of Schedule
This site has the SOS from 2005 to 2010. I think on one of years it shows the before and after.
Here is a story from 2008 about SOS, before and after and how it relates to Super Bowl winners, etc...
Does strength of schedule predict Super Bowl champion? - NFL - ESPN
Though your team may have the toughest schedule entering a season, it does not mean your team will actually have the toughest schedule. In fact, since 2002, the team with the toughest schedule based on previous season results has never had the toughest schedule at the end of the season (though the 2004 Dolphins had the second-toughest). On the flip side, the 2002 Bills entered the season tied with the Chargers for the toughest schedule, but wound up with the third-easiest schedule in the NFL.

I was thinking a couple of weeks ago the it seems the Pats have one of the toughest scheduals (at least on paper) every year.
