I did like Eckel, I thought he was very underrated and didn't get enough of a chance. I'm surprised they cut him so early, maybe they were hoping he'd catch on with another team.

He was hurt most of training camp so he had no chance of making the squad. My guess and its just a guess is that the injury isnt too bad (no clue what it is) but the pats had more to gain by cutting him than IRing him as that way when he is healthy if we have room at running back (ie other injuries) than he may return we have 5 better ones so here is hoping it doesnt come to that.
small chance when he is healthy they may want him for STs as that is his strength. but with so many backs I think they would have to be struggling on Sts to do it.
but Evans goes down and they will be glad they cut instead of IRed

LOL, eckel seriously never even deserved to be on this team (talent wise)...the space could have been used much more wisely...but BB does have a soft side...
