When can folks come back and what is their status.

We have several players out. Will any be available this for the SF game.

As an aside, I presume that Eluemunor will be out.

I agree on Eluemunor, I too presume he will not play.

On the others it depends on the status of each of the various players.
Some tested positive; others were quarantined due to close proximity.

haven't heard word 1 on Andrews recovery... not that that is surprising... he is eligible to return in week 7... all going to depend on how well he recovers from surgery... but since surgery was on his thumb, i dont think he will be ready that soon...

We really need Andrews and Mason back. The musical chairs at O-line is Deja Vu from last year.

The difference is that we have 2 rookies who seem to be good enough to start when needed. Also, Froholdt may be OK as a backup. Mason coming back would be huge. Sad to say, it would be good to have Ferentz back as our Game Day 8th OL (along with (Froholdt and Cunningham).

Did somebody hear something from Allen? Wish we could have him against 49ers

Josh Uche needs to get his over-drafted ass on the field too.
Yes.
The linebacker corp, and by extension the dbs being used as lbs, are in desperate need of relief / depth

Am praying 2020 doesn't turn into a red shirt year for uche

Per Mike Reiss:
The Patriots had three players on their injured reserve list return to practice Wednesday (center David Andrews, defensive tackle Beau Allen and linebacker Josh Uche), and three players come off the reserve COVID-19 list as they participated in practice (RG Shaq Mason, DE Derek Rivers, DT Byron Cowart). The Patriots were in full pads as they focused on fundamental-type work.
Adam Butler was there for the start of practice; we will learn his level of participation today.

Butler attending the start of practice is a positive sign. He is not on IR and not lost for the year. Even if he misses a few weeks to heal, at least he will be back to join Guy, Allen and Cowart. I do not think we will trade for a DT if we have all 4 guys ready to go in early November. If Uche and Jennings are coming along, I don't think we need a LB because Phillips and Dugger play so much. A stud DE at the trade deadline would be great.

Guys on the IR can practice? Is that new?

Where have you been? Guys can practice for 3 weeks before having to be activated from the IR or be lost for the season. This isn't a new rule.

a simple yes, they can practice, and no its not a new rule would have sufficed. Thanks for being a **** about it.

and an open question ... what about adding the word "bruins" of some sort to a user name makes said user feel entitled to increase their douchebaggery level by 1000%?
