When available and healthy, Gordon >>>>>> Cooks

We’ll see whether or not he tries to jam his penis in the opposing defender’s face mask. I’m guessing that it’s a no.

lololol!!!!!!

He may have looked over and thought that he saw an old image of Sean Landeta wearing one of those sexy one bar face masks, who knows?

I mean—who’s got a better theory? I’d love to hear it.

The concussion he would suffer later in the game (after pivoting around nonchalantly into a bull rushing, helmet-spearing linebacker) was retroactive?

It would have been interesting to see both in the team!

I doubt they would have traded for Gordon had they kept Cooks....but the two together would have been lethal!

They left some plays out there Tonight Brady and Gordon need to watch tape and see what went wrong. Gordon was targeted more than Gronk and Edelman encouraging.

Gordon's best play of the night may have been when he broke up a sure interception on a pass intended for him. Great presence of mind and excellent timing to get a hand between the DB's arms.

Let's stop to Cooks Bashing boys he did very well for us last year until that play in the SB. That said we have moved on and he's on pace to have his best season as a pro.

Let's not go nuts. Gordon's played 3 games so far and he's looked pretty good. He ran a few bad routes in this game. He's looked pretty good but let's not compare him to a guy who played a full regular and post-season with the Pats.

He seems real uncomfortable in the press conference. Hope he can find a little peace through Pats and Brady.

I wonder if he has social anxiety, or some form of anxiety. If so, he fits in perfectly in this organization where he can just disappear and become just "one of the guys." And I believe he said something to that effect. In Cleveland he was front and center in the spotlight. He probably likes that this team circles the wagons when it comes to interaction with the media.

The crazy thing is that Gordon is just going to get better as the season goes on. He and Brady are still a little off but they're getting closer and closer every week to putting it together.

I do not know the J Gordon, have never met him and have no connection to him in any way. But I can ensure you he has some form of anxiety. You and I do too. And hiding from anxiety within an organizational structure is not healthy.

I wonder if getting him up there is part of his therapy. If he has self-esteem issues getting public experience is helpful.

Nothing wrong with taking refuge in an organization that you know will look after you and will NEVER throw you under the bus. It's actually beneficial when you feel like someone is looking after you, unlike in Cleveland which was anything but a stable environment.

Gordon looks great catching the ball, but he has a long way to go to be as productive as Cooks was last year. So far, he hasn't really given the Patriots much in terms of production or reliability.

Agreed. But Cooks didn't look great in his first few games either.

Cooks is better than most of you are giving him credit for. That being said, this offense needs Gordon more, and I think it's obvious they plan on making him one of the top options by playoff time.
