Am I imagining things or is Rodney making more uncharacteristic decisions out there with regard to personal fouls and confrontations with officials?

Overall he had a tremendous game last night, but I do think that something is up with him. Something is different. He has changed. These personal foul outbursts, and confrontations with officials and opposing coaches is the type behavior I would expect from a roid head, but he's obviously not on the juice. So what the hell is going on there?

Maybe it's just life in the fast lane but when it costs the team yardage, mmmmm, I wonder if speed is killing more than it should.

Boy, are you over reacting. He's the most fined player in the league, I believe. Rodney has never not delivered a hit when there was any question and has oftem been called for it.

His one late hit was bad and he got called for one near the sideline where the guy was still running and was in bounds.

The second was an awful call and Rodney was right to make sure that guy was stopped. The first was late, but that's what has always been the trade off with Rodney.

Always, since way before the Patriots.

I hope this was a sarcastic topic.

its a good question. rodney is always giving questionable hits, but lately he seems to be one step behind, causing the hit to be too late and flagged. i guess it could be cause he lost a step, getting old, and maybe just incredibly fired up for the end of the year. hard to say

i agree, it's like he just wants to fight or something. the guy is mad at the end of every play. as if he's been wronged. guy's always been scrappy but not this bad. call me crazy but i dont think he's back next year. i think bellichik will have seen enough

Ok, your crazy.

Remember, he's also been hurt alot the last 2 years. At first glance I can see where you're coming from, but he's always been like this...we've just forgotten, since he hasn't been on the field alot since the 2004 season.

boys.... incase you missed it that is RODNEY HARRISON OUT THERE

we are talking about one of the most bad ass players of all time

the kind of guy that defines the type of player you have to play against but love to have on your field

he is pure emotion, pure agressiveness, it is classis harrison and I love every min of it, and wouldnt have it any other way

jeezus....what a numbnutz post...I WANT a safety who has an attitude...you'd rather have some namby pamby girls field hockey type out there like last year in the AFC championship game?

if he puts colts in range for a winning FG because of a 15 yard personal foul, you'll feel differently.

Jeez Nancy Negative, relax.

if you ever make a post that's pro Patriots, I might feel differently...you are consistently a knee jerk critic of every little thing you can find concerning the Patriots or their players. If it pains you so much, find another team, like say, the Jets, to root for. Of course, disregard this suggestion if you already ARE a closet Jets fan

when bill got rodney, he got him BECAUSE HE WAS AN ANIMAL! we didnt get him because he was the fastest or smartest or most talented safety out there.

Rodney is great!!!!

He was out there bringing the lumber with those hits. He is setting the tone for our defense... if you catch the ball, you're gonna get hit.

By the way, that one penalty against Rodney was BS, the receiver was still inbounds and fighting to escape from Asante.

The NFL rules are becoming so lame now, even I have to say that the "roughing the passer" call when the Jax lineman knocked Brady to the ground was total BS. Just my opinion.

I agree, but it made up for the BS 15 yard PF Facemask against Seau... The one PF that Rodney had that I thought was legit was the late hit on the ball carrier who was obviously down at the point he hit him. Granted, the whistle hadn't blown, but he was down by contact.

The other was actually called on Asante for what appeared to be a swing at the ball, since Rodney's hit looked to be legit that time, but there weren't any great angles to see that from.

First off, the call was on Asante Samuel on the sideline, not Rodney.

He had one personal foul for a late hit last night. Big deal.
