For most of the Pats, this is their chance to become Super Bowl champions.

For most of the rest, this is their chance to become repeat Super Bowl champions/Super Bowl champions again.

There really only are a few guys involved who have all-time kinds of legacies at stake. Brady, Belichick, Robert Kraft for sure. I'd include Dante Scarnecchia and Matt Light, but that's about it for me. Not Kevin Faulk, unless he contributes a lot on the field in the Super Bowl. Not Ivan Fears or Ernie Adams. Not Jonathan Kraft, although he stands to inherit a legacy some day that he will then get great credit for if he is able to sustain it.

Who else has even been around for the whole run?

I think I would have to respectfully disagree in regards to Ernie Adams.

He really should go down as one of the best as what he does....what is it that he does again?

Ernie Adams is to the Patriots what the CIA is to these United States.

There ought to be a solid gold bust of him in Canton some day, or at least one wherever New England's Lombardies are displayed.

Pepper Johnson :rocker:

Yeah, Pepper. Good call, nash.

I think Pepper has earned the right to be the next DC here. Then again, once we'd officially name him, he'd probably be offered a HC gig after his first or second season for sure.

If not naming him DC will keep him around, then I'm all for it!

BB is coaching in he's 5th SB as a HC i dont think anyone has ever done that he is alredy in the same class with vince lombardi, Mr Kraft is alredy one of the best owners in NFL history.

for me the only one that has something at Stake is Brady if he wins he goes from one of the greatest QB's of all time to the greatest QB of all time

I didn't realize that Pepper has been here from the get-go.

Good for him!

It's easily Brady and his legacy.

And BB can improve his boat.

Not disagreeing, do you think that he has beat out Matt Particia????

For the team we are 3-3 in Superbowls. I'd prefer to be on the winning side of the records.

Robert Kraft is 3-2 in Superbowls. A victory too will keep him on the winning side.

I'd prefer not to listen to the mediots tell me Brady isn't in the GOAT conversation because he lost 2 SBs.

I hate losing, but I'd hate losing to the Giants twice. Would almost have that Cowboy-Buffalo vibe.

Lastly, my wife and kids won't want me in a grumpier mood for a week after the game.
