What's going on with the defense: injuries or coaching?

I think a tremendous amount of the defense’s struggles is on coaching and schemes For example every week coaching seems to be playing Gonzalez incorrectly from what many analysts are saying and it’s setting him up to fail. Mix in some horrible execution and tackling and no accountability and leadership and you have a dumpster fire. Doesn’t help that we have no consistent elite pass rushers on the field either . Injuries are definitely a factor but I think 90% of issues coming from blunderous coaching and no leadership

Coaching coaching coaching!! The lack of discipline and the lack of accountability are intolerable

The Patriots have consistently done that. You can go back to the 2019 Ravens game. No not every team does that. The Patriots even that year had the worst game of the playoffs and the Bills had their best point total of the entire season against them. Also you are selectively leaving out how the Bills opponent needed OT to break 40. The regulation score was 36-36. And that was also the 13 second game as well.

So no, it's not remotely like the Patriots having a historically bad loss where their opponent never punted.

Also I'm not going back and forth with you.
I can't imagine how you'd react if one our defenses let up a 13 second drive. You're being silly as usual

On the other side of the ball here is our OC after week 12 swaying he is disappointed over penalties and it’s the most upset he has been since preseason with his 32nd ranked offense. I thought sucking would upset a coach but he sounds happy with the offense before the penalties.

He also informs us these same players were jumping offsides during practice but he waited until they did it in the game to pull the “you play like you practice” line rather than realizing you coach like you practice and he should have dealt with correcting the “horse crap” in practice. We are dysfunctional in every aspect.

They have NOT consistently done that. If they did they wouldn’t be highly ranked. As I have said every time this topic comes up show me the defense that allowed more points and was better.

The Bills are the exact example of what you are saying only happens to the Patriots, and it happen the week after. They were the #1 defense in the NFL and allowed 42 points. That is historically bad.

Again, every defense has most of its bad games against good offenses and its best games against bad offenses, this isn’t rocket science even with your myopia.

The same as most fans. If it’s the Patriots it proof they suck, they are overrated, every win was smoke and mirrors. If it’s another team, ignore it.

You can't compare a single drive to an entire game where a defense literally never made a stop which was bad in a very historic context.

We lost a game once in Miami with barely any time on the clock because we put Gronk at safety. You don't see me pointing to that as evidence that the Patriots defense that year were paper tigers.

You probably did

It is all coaching. It is players missing assignments Poor game plans, and poor calls all to make the patriots defense terrible. Covington is the first to blame and Mayo for not addressing it.

Agree completely, and there’s really no excuse for it.
