So might help us strike two birds in one and possibly trade both our TEs and use those savings to get OT in FA .we have 2 TEs that we dont use now...why draft one at 14? I would say BB takes a DL with #14...he should take, and we need 2 OT and a C
I can see that. Porter Jr from PSU or Witherspoon - IllinoisI mean, just get a really good player. I’m not picky here.
For the sake of throwing something else out there other than OT…we know Bill loves his long corners, and I see three 6’2” guys roughly in that range.
I still think it's Russey. He didn't play because Andrews played 14 games and Ferentz was the backup. I think 2023 is a good opportunity to be the backup with Ferentz no longer on the team.Definitely OT. An OC in the 3rd/4th or 5th round to push Andrews would be nice despite having Russey and Hines. We need quality backups in the Tom Ashworth/Brandon Gorin molds.
christian gonzalez as wellI can see that. Porter Jr from PSU or Witherspoon - Illinois

Don’t we already have that in Tyquan Thornton and Jonnu Smith? Wait.I'll take a game changing WR or TE.
And pick up an additional pick. That is a solid move. Unless The Guy is there at 14.Trade back to 20's and take OT
Yeah, you’re right. Our red zone troubles stem in part from the offensive line not being powerful enough to open up holes. We need to upgrade LT, move Trent Brown to RT, have Cole Strange get bigger and stronger and upgrade the center position.Definitely OT. Paris Johnson just feels right. Can’t forget about him.Wright, Jones, or Paris Johnson at OT.
I was picking the same 4 players in several trial mocks but it got a little harder going into round 4I’ve been beating the drum since the 2021 season about the need for a major upgrade at OT. I wanted to throw up when they extended POS Wynn; the guy clearly doesn’t love football, I knew his injuries this year were all BS.
In reference to the draft, what I hope is that they don’t hang their hopes on another relatively short LT like him. That means no Skoronski or B. Jones for me. I also don’t want to see them reach again in the first round, or drop back and miss superior talent. For me, that means if Paris Johnson or Harrison isn’t there at 14, I’d be happy if they were available to see the Pats pick Smith or Ringo at CB or Addison or Johnston at WR, but would want to see two of Bergeron, D. Jones, Freeland, Duncan, or Mauch from the next 2 or 3 picks.
This of course guarantees that none of those guys will become Patriots <pretend the bricks emoji was still available and inserted here>
in this spirit I offer the following:

I never trust the evaluation any college player the media falls in love with, especially in the playoffs/bowl season.Though TE Brock Bowers, if there at 14, would be tempting
Yep that's why I hope our next OC have a say in the Draft.Paris Johnson LT or Christian Gonzalez CB, either of those for our first pick i'd be happy with and then with our second give me Zay Flowers or if he falls far enough Boutte. If we bring Bill O'brien back, were going to need to bring back our traditional slot receivers who can separate quickly underneath and get YAC.
