Will you be happy, pissed or just don't care

If he makes the game winning catch, I will be pissed as he!!

I think people in general are too harsh on Wes. I'll be rooting against him just because of Peyton Manning but if the Broncos win I'll be happy for Wes.

I think he had reason to be disgruntled. After all, the Pats essentially tried to cut his playing time in 2012 but that plan blew up when Hernandez got hurt in week 2. He has reason to feel slighted, he left town, and if he wins he will validate his decision.

The way this season is going, he'll make that same friggin catch he dropped in 46 3 times to win the game.

Truthfully, I really don't care. He's a football player and took his talents to another team. It happens.

That he picked the right team to beg to sign him

Option 4:

* Inane thread

I am rooting against the bronco's but i will be happy for Welker, he played his ass off for NE and will pay for it for the rest of his life. Hopefully a ring will prompt him to retire so he doesn't do more damage to himself.

That he'd have 1 less appearance and 1 more win than he did with his time as a Patriot.

That would be the finishing blow to belichick from Wes.In addition , i'm thinking the Amendola move would be more scrutinize by the outside experts and by some people here. Wes Welker would no longer be included in the patriots hall of fame.Oh then there will be youtube parody on how much Wes love Peyton; " Peyton you gave me something Tom never did, a ring" and then i will want to hang myself.

The Patriots did a great job removing the focus on Welker leaving with the whole Aaron Hernandez murder charge... Kudos to our PR team!

and a great job of signing tebow to stop the talks of hernandez

Good for Wes, he gambled and maybe will win that bet.

Patriot hero Wes Welker leaves us to join Peyton to win a SB in his first year.
Patriot legend Adam Vinatieri left us and joined Peyton and won a SB in his first year.

Just shoot me.:bricks:

I don't care that he left the team, I care that he took out Talib and that changed the scope of the Patriots' defense for the entire game. Screw him.

It will simply cap off what has proven to be a very depressing calendar year from the end of January 2013 through the current moment....

I am 100% fully expecting it to happen myself.

Someone please stop the bleeding

Felger was on one of his incessant rants and said something to the effect that he hopes Welker will win the Superbowl just to rub "Bill's face in it"..

Do not get it, the Pats offered him more money, he chose Denver so why would be be outraged or even concerned??

I don't care.

He didn't "leave us." The Pats wouldn't meet his salary demands (the Pats came up, but their offer was apparently still short of the Broncos' by enough) and he went to a team that would. Bad decision by the Pats, good decision by the Broncos, right financial decision by Welker.

He might have been a "great Patriot," but he still had the Pats fourth Lombardi in his hands and dropped it (yes, the catch would have been tough, but he's made tougher catches). So, I wish him well but I didn't cry over his departure.
