I'm not saying fans cannot and should not question picks, question how high we take a certain player. It's our right as fans.

But please consider this: without arguing whether he would be able to learn and understand our offense, based on a pure talent/potential/need standpoint, how many here would have been upset if we used one of our 3rd round picks for WR Da'Rick Rogers? I'm sure the overall mood on the board would be excitement.

The entire NFL decided he wasn't worth a draft pick at all. I don't think many here would have bashed the pick in terms of value at the time, but as it turns out, us taking him in the 3rd round would have been a HUGE reach.

Again, it works both ways.

Very reasonable and respectable post. It's fun to have gut reactions to picks but we won't know anything until 2-3 years from now.

How about we all bask in the glory of our 2010 draft and call it a weekend?
