I really feel Winovich can be extremely effective, similar type impact like Rob Ninkovich. Definitely will help with the loss of Flowers. Not saying he's as good as either, but he's gonna be an impact rookie.
 
Might take some seasoning before he can become the well-rounded/every down type guy possibly down the road, but he’s already got some great attributes going for him that could help right away. The versatility of the personnel elsewhere on the field should give him opportunities to pin his ears back (and hair too?) and tell him “hey get after the QB”.
