What questions would you ask BB?

1. What was it like to have both your father and your son with you during one of your superbowl victories. A moment considered by many to be the pinnacle in a coaches career?

2. How many hours do you work?

3. Do you ever tire of the pressure cooker environment that is the life of an NFL coach or is that what motivates you to keep on going?

4. Does Scott Pioli ever bug you about problems he might have with his father in law?

5. Are Pioli's father in law problems your problems too?

Thanks, Bill :) -- and while you're about it, can you give me your top fashion tips?

Dead easy. He copied the latest fashion on British streets- the hoodie!

Great questions. I'd ask him technical questions, like- does he think that position specialisation in the NFL has got silly , what the process is in drawing up a defensive strategy and specific gameplans, what questions his team asks potential draftees and (less technical) whether he has mental space to switch off from football.

Having seen a segment on NFL Films yesterday about Bernie Kosar, I'd like to ask BB if he ever regretted cutting him.

That's okay, HC can drive the cart, Bella is in DC and I think I could take Hoodie in a fair fight!:p

I'm not much of a fighter but it totally depends on what's at stake. So in this case BG, you might have some trouble on your hands.

I'd ask:

1. Why didn't you join the Navy?

2. Was it difficult to put up with Lawrence Taylor and his antics?

3. Did your experience in Cleveland (particularly the death threats) make you rethink your choice of profession?

4. Do you regret not having played football professionally?

5. Will you marry me?

I don't know how he would answer 1-4. But, if he anwered "yes" to #5, go back to #3 as it pertains to you.

HAHA! That is hilarious Nut!!

I wondered about the Navy too Hoodie. He graduated from Andover in 1971, I would assume it had something to do with the war and him wanting to go to college. Just a guess on my part, I have never read anything about this.

"Could you spare a couple hundred grand?"

She may be reffering to his growing up in Annapolis and his father coaching at the Naval Academy.

His dad was in the Navy during WWII. Hoodie wrote she would have asked BB why he did not join the Navy. I have wondered the same thing too since he seems to have followed in his dad's footsteps in every other regard. I simply assume it is because the Vietnam war was still going on when he graduated from his post-graduate year in Andover in '71.

Or perhaps he just realized he wasn't Navy material or there were aspects of military life that didn't suit him. It's always made me wonder. That's an interesting theory BG. 1971 was the tail end of the Vietnam war wasn't it? So he probably wouldn't have been sent if he went to Annapolis.

Hey Nut -- I would be the perfect wife for him because we both have the exact same goal -- to see the Pats win another Championship. And I would do everything in my power to help that along. ;)

Is Bonnie Bernstein as hot in real life as she is on TV?

May I remind you that it is not permitted to repeat Question 5 (see first post of this thread)? ;)

The war tecnically ended in 1975, while US troops left in 1973.

Is Annapolis 3 or 4 years? So BB would have graduated in '74 or '75 and probably wouldn't have seen any action.

I can't see him as Admiral Belichick anyway. I suspect his uniform would always have some sort of dirty smudge on it and you certainly aren't allowed to cut the sleeves off.

By the way I thought of two more questions:

6. What the source of the conflict between you and Wrong Bogus?
7. Do you cut the sleeves off the sweatshirt while you're wearing it?

True, but in 1971, you wouldn't have known that American troops would have been pulled out by 1973.

Also, Andover isn't exactly known for sending people to Annapolis is it? Most of his classmates probably went to the Ivy League.

But how many sons of Annapolis football coaches go to Andover? The point is there was probably no one who could have gotten in more easily and yet he decided not to join the Navy. It's always been something I've wanted to ask him.

Actually, good point. I read his book and he never mentions why he decided to attend Andover. That's a question I'd like to ask him too.

Do you know if his dad was an Annapolis grad? Maybe they weren't a real navy family until WW II happened.
