What about Patten?

Washington has made some pretty big moves as we have discussed, but has anybody heard what they will do with David Patten? If I remember correctly he has a nice sized contract and was not happy with the Skins last year. Logic says they will cut him, but it is just a theory. I wouldn't mind seeing him come home for some added depth IF we CANNOT sign Givens.

I think it might be down the road a bit..and coming back to NE would be fine. He's a smart receiver..fast and just seems to make the big catches.

I heard that if the redskins cut him it'll be well into the Free Agency period. That would be perfect timing for the Pats because all the free spending teams would probably have exhausted their cap space already.
