Were the Broncos caught cheating?

First of all, let me state unequivocally that the Broncos were the better team and the better team won. I do not believe the following would have impacted the outcome of the game (just as I do not believe the Patriots taping signals would have impacted the outcome of that game). Having said that.....

Anyone notice the Bronco mascot banging on the drum when the Patriots were moving the ball and getting to line of scrimmage? Is it just me, or is that a blatantly illegal act? (according to this link it sure is: Sports | NFL rules on crowd noise | Seattle Times Newspaper)

Now I don't think for a darn second it mattered one bit to the outcome of the game, but this is the sort of thing where, if it was the Patriots, it would make national sports headlines for months like Spygate did.

Yeah I saw that, though it was unclear to me who it was that stopped him.

Like I said, I don't even remotely consider this a big deal. I just like pointing out the media's double standard.
