Now back to 8.5 points since Burrow is practicing and probably playing.

They better have a ****ing pass rush plan on Sunday. This defense might get exposed a bit with Burrow.

The Bengals play again Thursday. There is no practice for them next week. My guess is they are practicing him this week for a potential start next Thursday. I don't see them starting Burrow on Sunday after being out for several months and then playing him again four days later. Hey may be activated by Sunday, but my guess is his first game is Thanksgiving which is way ahead of schedule from where they expected him.

I cannot see the Bengals playing Burrow twice in four days coming off a significant injury.

I don't get why people suddenly think rusty Joe Burrow is gonna transform their fortunes even if he does play in 3 of their last 4 games with Flacco the Bengals scored 33,48 and 42.

Scoring isn't the problem for them, they gave up 39 points to the Jets and 47 points to the Bears and those offenses are awful, the Patriots will shred them unless they start dropping the ball and throwing picks.

I don't fear Burrow all that much. It has been shown time and again mid QBs surrounded by great play makers can put up near MVP numbers in todays game. Now i am not saying Burrow is mid. But we haven't really seen Burrow without Chase for any long sample of time.

Prime Hill and co made Tua look great. How much of the Burrow hype is Chase/Higgins and co?

They would be crazy to have burrow come back from that kind of injury to play a sunday and Thursday game back to back. In a meaningless season at this point

The AFCN is still very much up for grabs.
Pitt is ok, Rodgers is hurt and might not play.
Lamar is on the injury report again.
Cincy still has an outside chance at the division.
Obv Burrow gives them a much better chance than a banged up Flacco.
People on the Bengals are playing and coaching for their jobs. Pretty meaningful if u ask me.

Miami is the team most likely to beat the Pats next imo. Divisional rival who are playing better of late and usually tend to have one victory against the Pats every season.

Drake should be able to perform a clinic against that Bengals D.

The only way Miami and Tua beat us in New England in January in the cold will be if the Pats do not have the #1 seed and have a playoff game the following week and are resting players.

Can he? Yes. They don't have to say in advance and can wait til the last minute to activate him.

Will it happen? Now that's a question with a whole buncha other questions around it.

I'll just say it's not normal to use first team reps on a guy you're not going to play.

Bottom line is what we assumed to be a certainty (Burrow not playing) is now officially anyone's guess.

They do need to open a roster slot to activate him. He doesn’t count against the 53 while on IR but does once activated. And I believe there is a deadline for roster moves before a game, maybe sometime Saturday?

Not sure if it has to be opened first, can be done at the same time, or if there might be a grace period. Perhaps someone else would know that?

Adam Schefter on Get Up this morning said Burrow will do everything he can to play Sunday, now that doesn’t mean he’ll play but he’s getting all the staring reps.

Nothings ever completely meaningless but meaningful enough to rush the franchise qb back at these odds? 3 games back with 7 games left, eh. If their defense showed any ability to stop teams maybe, truthfully this season is a lost cause for them.
