What a dope Chase is to act like that when your team needs you.

I thought that he was better than that.
While ai agree it’s stupid : are we sure Cincy ‘needs Chase’ ? I mean, it’s not like he’s making them win. He’s a great player - but he isn’t that valuable to them atm. They are losers.

If Chase is suspended (how can he not be unless the video was doctored)

It is extremely rare that an appeal works out, they got video of chase spitting, he wont play next Sunday regardless of the appeal.

Tyreek Hill in his prime could make any playcaller look like a genius

Welker was honestly kinda like this. IIRC, he's one of the only receivers of that era to just have "do whatever gets you open" routes (not saying his route running was random, but it says a lot that he was trusted that much, and it probably made everyone's lives easier)

Jordy Nelson will uphold the suspension, it will be implemented the next time the Bengals face the Packers.

Considering where that number was after the first three games, that's pretty impressive.

I am sure tackling stats across the league were bad the first 3 games given how little actual contact teams do now in TC.

What teams do the first few games really ARE virtual preseasons compared to years gone by. So, forget those first 3 games missed tackles stats and focus on the NOW. Those are the stats that truly reflect our defensive abilities.

Clearly, because Saunders and Pettus are so much better safeties.
Haven't seen or heard really of peppers having an impact this season.. he was one of my favorite patriots when here..

He was out injured, may return this week.

Agree completely Ken. Even at the end of Belichicks tenure it was cleat that September games had become part of an extended pre season, which is why its so dumb for fans to treat them as a reflection of the season to come. Basically the camps and pre-season games are to screen the best candidates to make the team and practice squad, and the September games are when the team starts learning to play together.

All that’s true, but unfortunately the September games count as much in the standings as the November games. Would be great if they can bring back extended training camp with live tackling so teams can work on this stuff. And it’ll make a better product for the fans too.

Somebody has to win these games. Tired of the BB extended preseason excuses.
But it is better to finish strong in November December...

we play man we lock up Bengals wrs.. play zone and it's a long day
Just keep repeating the same thing over and over - it's never coming true. Nor should it.

Good defenses mix up coverages - and must - depending on situation, personnel groupings, etc. You show ANY NFL OC the same man coverage look over and over, they will have plays to beat it.

Add in the Patriots weakness in man coverage LBs and that also mandates at least SOME zone especially in 2d and 3d down and middle/short distance.
