The bigger key than Chase imo is flacco’s shoulder. The Steelers cbs are mostly ass and chase had barely any production if any after Flacco got planted. Bengals offense did nothing after 9 early points. Hard to see joe being anywhere near 100%

There is no comparison between this and the opening game. This was much worse.

Prescott admitted and it was evident in videos that he spit towards one of his offensive lineman, as he claims he does every game, and it went over his head towards Carter. The officials missed that, and Prescott later apologized.

That was over a misunderstanding it seems. This was aggression.

Edit" I don't know if I missed someone mentioning this.
The difference would be that Chase is almost certain to appeal any suspension, unlike Prescott

I don't think they will rush him back this week.

They have until Dec. 1 to activate him off of IR. He can fully practice and not count against the 53 man roster, and coming back fully healthy for the Thanksgiving Day game against the Ravens is probably what they're eyeing more than the Patriots.

Are you referring to burrow? Im talking about flacco, his shoulder is not 100%. Hes been dealing with an ac joint sprain for a few weeks and appeared to reaggravate it yesterday. Wasnt nearly as effective after watt drove him into the ground

Yes Burrow - not thinking they want to rush him back either - but yeah, those were some touch hits he was taking

Oh okay, yeah with burrow it is thanksgiving at the earliest.

Defenses over the last 8 years have reduced that offense to checkdowns, inside zone runs, bubble screens, RPO slants, and PI bait. The deep crossers are completely gone. The seam routes are completely gone. The toss cracks are completely gone.
Are you sure Tommy.. I was told he was fine as a play caller?.. Matt Patricia could have called a better game offensively yesterday...

Or his team just isn't executing quite as well as the last few years. Playoffs starting to look a little tougher now but they'll stay competitive and be right back in the mix with a very good offense next year.
All in all. KCs offense lacks any explosive plays.. it hasn't looked fluid like in years past.. they should be getting more out of worthy in the passing attack.. Mahomes also doesn't look or make superhero plays like he did earlier in his career... JMO

Our WRs already have 183 more yards than last years receivers had all year…

Question for you? Who's the best play caller currently reid or josh?
Probably have to say Shanahan because even if he still hasn't gotten over the hump it seems to work regardless of the QB.

Im sure there's others in the league to consider too but to answer your question between the two I think I'm going with our guy Josh (purely as a play caller obviously Reid figured out things as a HC that Josh couldn't).

Fair statement. I always felt a way about HCs that are play callers.. the way I see it is you have an OC or a DC let them call the plays..where as a HC you can turn your focus to all facets of the game.. you can always veto a play on the headset based on what you see overlooking the game in progress. It limits a HC IMO.

Still amazed that Jerod Mayo and Jacoby Brissett's Patriots beat the Bengals on the road - and with both Burrow and Chase.

Zac Taylor is a really bad HC and it doesn't get said enough, imo. He has derailed multiple seasons by simply not having his team ready to start the season,

Edit: ...let alone his constant boneheaded coaching/playcalling decisions. He can install a system maybe, but he cannot improve it, he leans into his talent to make due.

Johnson is doing solid with an aloof QB. Chicago better not pull a Miami and throw their newly minted HC into the sea in favor of a QB with a hard ceiling, with reports of Williams being frustrated with Johnson. I remember seeing the slowmo of Johnson's face in the first game where Williams was just ****ting the bed left and right, just thinking "goddamn man, this guy is dumb."

How's kingsbury doing in Washington? Seems like that shine they had last year was short lived...

Mahomes looks indecisive. I don't recall him stepping into the pocket and hitting a well-timed pass much these days. He seems to run around and look for breakdowns more than anything. He also has the 3rd and long PI Pass down pat.

Speaking of calls, that KC-Den was one for the "worst called game" category. Did it set a record for number of calls? It felt like it.

Tyreek Hill in his prime could make any playcaller look like a genius
