Cinci is on a 3 game losing streak with Joe Flacko.

Burrow is practicing and he has not been formally ruled out for the NE game. He came back 11/10/25 and the NE game would be 13 days into his 21 day return window.

While Chase should be suspended, I don't wanna plan around him being so until it is official. And even then, I think Pitt's outing showed we're more than equipped. Gonzo and Davis are gonna have their hands full but I think they match up well. And quite frankly, I like the idea of Gonzo getting in Chase's head if he plays. Gonzo isn't afraid to be a little chirpy.

Some seem to think they put Gonzo on Higgins and double Chase... Why not let Gonzo on Chase?

It’s not out of the realm of possibility if Tenn hasn’t seen encouraging signs and growth from Ward by the end of the season.

Arizona took Rosen at…#10 I think, then Murray #1 the following year.

It would be a bold move, but one they could make if they don’t have complete faith in Ward.

It wouldn't suprise me to see Marcus on chase some as well. Marcus speed can stay with chase.. chase lines up in the slot alot too and does alot of damage from there.. sort of like how we used to line randy up in the slot and he would run across the defense.. but if we are playing man.. I believe gonzo on Higgins and doubling chase or bracket him is a winning formula.

That depends upon how they decide to handle him. If they use the method Belichick used on Tyreek Hill it would be Marcus Jones covering him underneath with either a safety or CB overbthe top, which would mean putting Gonzalez on Higgins. If they just wanted to go straight up then it would be Gonzalez on Chase, and if Chase is out just put Gonzalez atraight up on Higgins.

Miami whipped Buffalo. We can all forecast wins but Vrabel's message to them every week is the right one, take any team lightly and you will probably lose. These Patriots know how fine that line is, and that's kept them focused all season, Chase or not they need to play them like they are the defending champs.

I agree anything can happen. But just making a point that Chase being out would be possibly huge.

That doesn't really make sense with this QB class. There's no Drake Maye in it. However if your the Jets you just start taking quarterbacks with your first round picks and use all 5 on them.

The word is "wary," but I forgot about the Jete and know what you're saying. They will be playing at home, we'll see if they care enough to put up a fight. What I said still applies to the other five on the schedule -- nothing can be taken for granted.

I agree anything can happen. But just making a point that Chase being out would be possibly huge.

It would, and fans can always speculate, but teams and players pay a heavy price if they go into a game not respecting that they are going to be in a fistfight. As bad as some teams can suck even last years Patriots won 3 games, and Belichick's last team only won 4. I don't count Buffalo 24' because that was deliberate loss.

Higgins is a beast even without Chase.
Only 1 top guy (London) burned the Pats secondary in the Atlanta game. Burrow is really freaking good. Is he playing or game time decision still?

That being said the Pats should be able to score on the worst defense in the league.

How many points to win this one? 28?

All we HAVE to do is make sure Jones doesn't get matched up 1 on 1 with Higgins, especially in the red zone.
I'm sure we'll see a fair amount of Chase vs. Gonzo. But the main factor is if our ineffective pass rush can actually get home - whether Flacco or a rusty/non-running Burrow - we have to get quicker pressure on them, and finish some sacks.

I hope to get positive news on Boutte, Rham, Hooper, Jennings this week.
Getting these guys back should help depth and potency of offense.
And Farmer & Elliss on D - should be important too - probably see a lot more Farmer if he's healthy to do his best MW impression.

On Chase, it's always a mistake to think that just because Goodell punished one player one way that he'll be consistent with the punishment for another player who does exactly the same thing.

True. I'm just of the mind that after having witnessed the last few seasons.. I'm trying to adjust my thinking..but i just don't want to under rate players we face.. we've been great this year and it's amazing as a Patriots fan.. feels like a good game to play cat coverage...

First off, thanks for the laugh. The idea of anyone thinking the Jete will ever be an 'organized franchise' (never mind manage it by the end of this season) almost had me sending coffee out my nose. The casual way you slipped that in was well played sir, very well played.

I don't see why you'd doubt some Pats fans have become weary of the Jete. Hell their own fans have been weary of their ineptitude for the past 50+ years
