In reading boards of various other teams it appears the Patriots have been the most hated, vilified, and considered classless by the majority of fans through out the NFL for most of the year. A spot we have held since spygate.

It appears based on various postings we have been passed and are now number 2.

Thanks to various Falcon players honoring a convicted felon & well known animal abuser -- Atlanta has passed us.

And we are now considered the second most classless team in the NFL, with a wide gap between 1 & 2.

"Free Mike Vick" touch down.

How is this thread-worthy? If I wanted the opinions of other fan boards I'd read those fan boards.

Re: Were #2 -- finally

Since when did "class" become part of the NFL? That's what I want to know. Not so long ago, football fans cheered players like Butkus who were out there trying to end careers every game.

I think it's as threadworthy as most of the others here. This place isn't really about what an individual poster wants, anyway.

Back in 1993 when Drew came in the league. There wasn't a classy player before or one since he came in the league.

Re: Were #2 -- finally

Damn, I want the Pats to dominate and be #1 in EVERY category.

From what I can tell, since LT cried about it. Since then, not a week goes by when you don't hear something about "class".

Atlanta is so classless. Those players have no class. If I were to invite them to my tea-party, I would rescind the invitations after that.

You have to admit, everyone knows he has a lot of class.

He's invited to my tea-party.

Re: Were #2 -- finally

They should do a skit for the Super Bowl kind of like the Bud Bowl of years past. Call it "Classy Bowl I"! The Pats would lose every year but whatever....

Thank you. This is what I grew up with watching football.

I think they put a class stat on the back of football cards now, to go with yards and TD's and what not.

Great another stat that I won't be able to figure out. I still have no clue what this DVOA & Bendability Index means.

Re: Were #2 -- finally

I still have no clue what this DVOA & Bendability Index means.
DVOA is simple. You just list players in the order in which you like them, then assign values to each player, giving mor value to the players you like and less to those you don't like.

Bendability has to do with proving that players who suck but that you like are actually very good players, based on an inverse diverse polygamic relationship.

After Goodell steps to the podium in April 08 while Bob Kraft is shining up trophy #4, if you can hear Roger at the podium amongst the cascade of jeers and boos, we will instantly get our #1 hatred spot back with either the Chris Long or Darren McFadden pick. BINGO, WE GOT BINGO, WE..............

"And with the 4th pick on the 2008 NFL Draft.............Call security the crowd is getting out of hand !!!!!!!!!" "Gene Washington buddy, you wouldn't mind switching draft days do you?"
