Let's hope he's not the next Kevin White.
Jete will wish they had him by 2021.
Signed, sealed and delivered.. I like it. It will be interesting to see if recent signees like Watson and Thomas are considered "bridge players" or the real thing that will add a dimension to our offense..
Big receivers what a concept..
A quick look at the Pats depth chart shows that this edition is deeper than I can remember..
While I do feel that Morgan will be a better prospect than Meyers, I actually would've used one of those thrown-away 7th-rounders on WR Emanuel Hall. He could've been Mr Over-the-Top to Harry's Mr Underneath.
Harry, Harris and Stidham
Nice having two of those guys on that list.
He’s the opposite of White, he’s a big WR who will consistently win the battle for the ball. I think he will he the OROY.
Harry is not what everyone thinks he is. He is not a down field threat; it looks like he cannot get separation on deep or medium routes and had to make spectacular catches. Will that work against taller CBs in the NFL? Doubtful. However he does look good at the WR screens, and he has good acceleration while moving. I am not real excited about this pick.
Based on previous disasters, BB should never be allowed to pick a WR in the first few rounds. Will he finally do it right this time? I have my doubts.
BB's second pick this year looks way better than his first.
You've been wrong so consistently, and so spectacularly, that this makes me feel better.
It actually works in the NFL much better than the other way around.
Au contraire; I am almost always right, even when heckled like I am now. I was wrong on Elandon Roberts (he looked like crap on the college tapes), but right on almost everyone else.
Watch the tape on Harry; he is covered on half those routes. He is big, sure, but slow out of the gate (but I do like his acceleration while on the move; Jerry Rice had this also--a slow 40 time but the ability to turn on the jets while moving). He is not going to stretch the field but he has some other talents.
Harry does not have a slow 40 time.
4.53 and 4.59 is not that fast considering that many CBs are running 4.3's
He was 20'th among WRs at the Combine:
NFL Combine 2019 results: Wide receiver 40-yard dash times, including stellar D.K. Metcalf, Parris Campbell showings
It is plenty fast considering his size. How many WRs bigger than him ran faster than him? Zero.
Who would you have picked at wr?
Random N'Keal Harry photo...
He seems to be a fusion of Fitzgerald, Dez, and Brandon Marshall; I see traits of each player in him.
In response to FFD, Brandon Marshall was not particularly fast but still posed a downfield threat.
I'm excited about N'Keal.
