Welcome to Miami
By Mike Reiss, Globe Staff

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- Welcome to Dolphin Stadium, where the Patriots (6-0) visit the Dolphins (0-6) today.

Conditions could be a factor, as it is hot and humid here. Temperatures are currently in the mid-80s but it feels hotter than that. There is a slight breeze through the stadium.

In terms of atmosphere, it is quiet in the parking lots surrounding the stadium, which is reflective of the fan support the winless Dolphins are receiving. A lot of Patriots fans here.

Pete Morelli is scheduled to referee today's game.

We'll plan on passing along some updates along the way today.

Tomase is saying Maroney probably sits again.

I was perusing this stuff a while ago and wondering where Pats1 has gotten off to...

I'll put this here in case P1 shows and this becomes the game thread.

Pats inactives
By Mike Reiss, Globe Staff
Inactive players for the Patriots today:

OL Wesley Britt
DL Kareem Brown
QB Matt Gutierrez (3rd quarterback)
LB Eric Alexander
S Mel Mitchell
RB Sammy Morris
TE Benjamin Watson
DL Mike Wright

That means RB Laurence Maroney is active for today's game after missing the last three contests due to his groin.
