IMO Gore is not a first ballot HOFer but will eventually get in.
Sanders averaged 5.0 yards a carry, Gore 4.8.
Gore has 462 receptions to Sanders 352.
Plus Gore could be back for at least 1 more year.

Like Larry Fitzgerald, they’ve been stat padding for years. Gore hasn’t been the same since leaving SF.

This is why Emmit Smith gets irritated at most critics not taking his “rushing record” seriously as Sanders would’ve put it out of reach.

The dome gnome is so overrated. Made a living off of getting big stats against prevent defenses and 600+ attempts most of his career, and getting a ton of yards off of running plays that count as “passes”. I’m sure he’ll be throwing TD passes inside the 3 furiously now so he can pass Brady in TD’s since it seems he cares about that and his yardage the most

Maybe someone on here can explain to me his “greatness” but I don’t see it. Most fans and media have him top 5. I see fringe top 10
