Was waiting for someone to post this...thought I'd go ahead and try and keep you all updated

Second source claiming Edelman's knee isn't a concern.

Was really hoping Cannon would be back.

If Edelman's dinged up, give him the week off. Amendola, LaFell and Martin can carry the load.

Unfortunately Martin has a hamstring injury....so Dobson may have to carry his load. That would be my guess. Hopefully that changes though. Martin is a solid receiver!

Kind of concerned that Sheard and Canon are still missing. I was hoping that they would start working out during this mini-bye.

Again what is with the obsession with Martin? He's proven nothing
He's proven enough to be on the roster. He may not be your binky, but some of us don't care about blinkies and just want every player on the team to get their chance to shine, and for them to play to the best level they can when they do. Got it?

They certainly dont need Jules to beat this team, if they do want to take extra precaution because the Giants game they WILL need him.

Gotta trust BB and Lombardi on this one. They grabbed him from Bill O'Brien in Houston who knows a little about what kind of receiver can get the Patriots read and react offense. VrabelJr says above, he earned Brady's trust right away and looked good before he pulled his hammy.

If he's back - he participated in drills yesterday according to reports - I'd rather see him out there against the inept Washington football club than Edelman with a gimpy knee.

Edelman is a key to making it through the playoffs. Anything that can be done to keep him intact for January should be done.

Duron Harmon missed practice today.

I suspect Cannon broke his big toe. You really can't play until that heals. Back by Turkey Day week.

He's made some nice plays. An adjustment down the sideline on a deeper throw, a diving third down catch and an adjustment to get a TD on a Brady scramble in his first game. He's made some solid blocks as well.

Good to hear about Sheard. I didn't think his injury would be anything serious, but I think it's the right call to keep hold him out and make sure he gets back to 100%. We don't really need him this week either.
