Just begging for a long drive, red zone, and maybe a touchdown??? I know too much right. Oh Brady...
They had a long drive for a TD last week. Granted it was when the needed a quick strike but they did have a long drive resulting in points.

For twenty years, I went into every game assuming we'd win. This year, I go into every game assuming we'll lose. It's been hard to set aside either assumption, and neither conduces much to objectivity. Makes yer head spin.

So I assume they'll lose this week, but then the ghost of twenty years of giddy optimism starts yammering away and I begin to cast about for some rational basis - or handy delusion - which can get me back to my long-accustomed optimism. I thought they had a chance against Dallas, I assumed it was just some screw up on the part of God's bean counters that they didn't win at least one of their first two games. I sort of assumed they'd beat New Orleans, I thought the Jets win actually meant something. It hasn't gone well. I have been ill-served by optimism.

"Maybe," a ghostly voice says, "it'll be close."

Hamlet took counsel from ghosts: how'd that work out? (For those who managed to give the Bard the slip in high school: it was a bloodbath.)

I'm afraid this one is going to make the tanksters giddy.

Yep... If Dorothy Parker not only dresses but plays a lot of snaps, then we'll all know that not only is the "Patriot Way" dead & buried, but that it's now completely ass-backwards.
Parker trotting back out there tomorrow as a starter shows how dysfunctional this organization has been for many years.

Need a Tom Brady scarecrow on the sidelines to hopefully scare the other team.

I'm shocked NBC put him [Tomase] on the Pats beat. I'll never click on anything he writes.
Yep. he's just a thoroughly unlikeable toad of a creature. Not quite as obnoxious as Adam Jones, - the Human Ipecac - but that'd be a stretch for anybody.

Here he is, restraining a fart, I believe.

Pats are wearing their silver pants tomorrow.

Thank you Bob!

I think I touched on this a few games ago but yeah. Up until a few games this season, I was still in the line of thinking that “just maybe this ship will be turned around. we are the patriots”. I don’t think this ship is getting turned around at this point

Savage beating for the Patriots coming. No pass rush and Allen runs = crummy Sunday night again...

Allen's shoulder is on the fritz.

So what, you say? Good point.

So you're probably right.

I really hope that doesn't happen. I'd almost take it as a direct and deliberate insult to myself and every other fan.
