Let's not go overboard. They are playing a teams totally depleted by injuries at home on a big night for Manning. The 49ers' offense has been mediocre all year. Their defense is missing all their best players.

The Broncos are really good, but the 49ers are so-so.

People want to fire Patricia, but the 49ers' DC should be taken into the locker room and put down like a rabid dog.

Another play where the 49ers let the Broncos receiver get a clean break off the line untouched. Cox was more like a tour guide for Thomas to the end zone than a defender.

Seriously, have the 49ers ever watched game film of a team that has successfully defended the Broncos or the Colts with Manning? They always are jamming receivers at the line.

49ers stopped playing for harbaugh. JH is on is way out and all the players know it.

Just to keep things in perspective for people that think we can't beat the Broncos:

1) This isn't the caliber of 49ers team you're used to. They are as ravaged by injuries this year as we were last year.
2) The Broncos have looked beatable in several other games this year.
3) BB is our head coach.

It is ridiculous to suggest their offense is better. Their offense last year broke records. This one isn't the best one in the NFL so far.

I really hope SD somehow steals the division from Denver. I really like our chances at home vs forehead in January. I'm just not that confident if we had to travel to Denver again.
