Week 7 Injury Updates (ongoing)

My early inactives guess largely includes players who are injured, but that still leaves injured players (Flowers debut) who will dress. Hopefully Hightower and Slater can go, but I think Miami is a better shot. With injuries piling up, 1-2 adiditional injuries this week could necessitate additional roster moves:

Hightower
Mason
Cannon
Sheard
Slater
Martin
Johnson

Hoping that sheard and cannon are getting rest as "vets". This is a very important game.

Hopefully with LaFell active.

Volmer, Kline, Andrews, Wendell, Fleming (with Williams and Jackson as our backups)

And we aren't worried. How times have changed. How rosy our analyses when we are 5-0!

We may win, or not.

However, we are playing one of the very best defenses in the NFL with a relatively weak OL. IMHO, it is just plain silly to make believe that we have a strong OL without Solder, Stork, Mason and Cannon. And yes, I do think that this OL (with Stork, Mason and Cannon) is good enough to be in Super Bowl contention.

Not happening. Neither is old enough and they wouldn't be missing multiple practices. They aren't playing.

so f#cking sick of these injuries. Injuries shouldn't derail teams' seasons like they have in the past. I've been an advocate of allowing all guys on the 53 to dress for a game. why not? makes no f#cking sense to me...have 53 dress for game and have 60 man roster. but of course, cheap f#ck nfl owners would never go for that. player safety not as important as a team/games in f#cking london....

Oh I figure they won't play but I'm praying they can. This is a big game. Jets are our #1 competition for the division. Home games are a must win.

I'd like to recommend a book that might be helpful for you: Why Bad Things Happen to Good Teams

You're kind of insufferable.

Volmer, Kline and Andrews have been good this year. Fleming played well after being thrust into the OL last week. If Wendell is back for this game then there might even be a slight improvement in-regards to the other OG spot that Mason and Jackson were rotating in.

Not the strongest OL they could field but don't sit there and take away from how solid Volmer, Kline and Andrews have been this year because Cannon and Mason are out this week.

Well if Cannon and Sheard aren't ruled out on the official injury report then BB thinks they are game-time decisions and then they'll have to prove during the pre-game tests if they can go.

when was the last time a Pats player didn't practice on friday and played on Sunday when the team has a game the following Thursday?

Vollmer might actually be a better LT than Solder.

Thank you.

Jackson has played very acceptably this year - he got a lot more snaps than Mason early on, iirc...Vollmer is good wherever you put him. Fleming played very well in Indy (I'm guessing it's easier for the OL at home, where they can hear the QB), and since when was everybody all excited about Cannon? I like Cannon, but it seems like now that he's hurt, it's all "Oh NOES!"

Wendell being back won't hurt, either.
