Yeah that was a bizarre offseason for the Saints. They didn't have anywhere near the cap space to spend premium money on one running back let alone two.

saints are in cap hell. brees absorbs so much of their cap.

In case anybody was wondering, Ben Watson's career high for receptions is 10; that came in 2010 when he was with the Browns in a victory at Miami.

The most receptions he ever had with the Patriots was eight in a 2008 34-31 loss to the Jets.

Watson has two 100-yard receiving games in his career: 100 yards in that game above when with Cleveland, and 107 yards in a 2007 34-17 win over the Browns- when he had two TDs and also rushed for 11 yards
