Javon Baker will be a Stud in due time not ever my WR come in the League and look like a world beater in year one. Some guys make the second year Jump right now they are just learning and waiting for their opportunity. Again don't give up on Baker we haven't seen the best of him.

Baker’s a ****ing punk & a moron. Maye’s UNC teammate Devontez Walker should’ve been the pick there if they wanted a WR.

I like Tez Walker too but the Ravens are bringing him along slowly no stats to his name like Baker.

I keep coming back to the fact that so many players are no longer playing.

If, back in May, I told you that we would have all the following players out for one reason or another, you would've thrown in the towel:

Barmore, Judon, Bentley, Peppers, Andrews, these are key players and captains.

The towel’s already been thrown-in, by both ownership and management… All I hope for the rest of the season is that Maye ends each game walking off the field under his own power, wiser & better-prepared than the week before…IF he even survives the beating he’s gonna be given this Sunday.

This Texans game might be the toughest competition we face until BUF in week 16.
Sure, MIA could be too, but depends on Tua coming back.
But after baptism by fire for Maye this week, it will be as advantageous of a 8-game stretch as a rookie QB could hope for in the NFL.

Patriots sign Ben Brown to the 53 man roster.

TT is very disappointing. I was hoping. Too bad if true. What a bust.

Boutte looks like a #4, maybe #3. With Douglas and Polk we only need one more. Baker is not that player.
Boutte looks like a nice complimentary guy making the best of his opportunities that's all you can ask for. I'm intrigued to see if K.J. Osborn comes alive with Maye.

I would like to see our Third Down Conversion rate with Maye especially on 3rd and 5 or less it was such an adventure with Mac and Brissett.

Not big on Osborn. Glad to see Boutte getting some time. Glad to hear there is some talk about moving Bourne. Flashy but inconsistent and an underperforming diva.

Man, stinks to be without Rham. But, might be time to get K. Harris as a call-up.

I have a feeling Boutte might be a surprise star of this game. He's been showing up more.

I really hope they stick with OL lineup - keep Onwenu at RG. Let Jacobs get more time at RT.

With the Texans being the highest blitz % D, this would be a great week to not run on 1st & 2nd, and pass on 3rd... like every stupid OC has done for the last 70 years.
How about not wait until 3rd & long to pass with a rookie QB, when the D is sure to blitz?!
Play action on 1st, mix it up!

Mayo said it was "solely my decision" to make the Drake move.
It is just odd though that 1 week ago he was adamant that JB was the best chance for the team to win.
Not sure if this was pressure from the team (players & coaches) and even ownership, and then he made the "call".

Either way, a heel-drop out of bounds may have been the difference in Maye playing week 6 vs. week 10.
Polk is actually a hero in many regards
I don't find it odd at all. They got through a tough 4 game stretch and Miami was a team that did not have a real good pass rush, so if there was a game that JB would do well-ish it would be that game. He looked like trash and confirmed he is not able to help them win games.

I felt like JB starting last week was the right call, we just lost Andrews. I do think they should have put Maye in at some point of the 3rd QTR after JB showed time and time again that he was not able to consistently move the ball. I didn't know the rule about the heel at the time, but am glad it is in place because it now gives us what we want.

I would absolutely love to see a deep bomb on the first or 2nd play. Let the Texans know there is that threat.

Yup, I would have gone Jordan, Sow and kept Onwenu at Tackle. Not convinced Jacobs can hold up against good pass rushers.
Also not sure Sow is 100% healthy but Jordan been good all year and Sow had a breakdown in technique on a couple of pass protections that were concerning considering how they have been harping on the type of technique they want.
Jordan has been better than Sow tbh. He’s just flat out been good. No reason to bench him.

I actually think Jacobs will be perfectly fine at RT. He won’t be any worse than Onwenu was at RT, which was average. This is fine, since it lets them play Onwenu at RG where he’s far better and helps cover up C deficiencies. Lowe and Jacobs should be OK. AVP actually talked about how he was impressed with them today and essentially said he thinks they will be their starters going forward.

Lowe was actually better than OK last week. He was good. Maybe something to build on there too.
