NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Week 6: Other NFL games

Another first down and the game is iced.

Vegas is going to be mad at the Eagles for that 2 pt conversion... it might cost me some dingleberry dollars too!

hahahahah unprepared for the patented Brady QB sneak... you don't say?

Hurts all smiles after a loss. Philly is cursed for the next few years.

With gambling now legal I was surprised neither Buck or Aikman mentioned the gambling implications of the 2 point conversion. I wished Arians had kicked the FG and then claims he wanted to reward our loyal fans who bet their hard earned money on us.

Buck did mention it.

heh...as it happened I thought.."WTF is Philly going for two???"...I opened ESPN and looked at the line. Suddenly all was clear. The best part was after the ensuing kickoff, that Philly LB douchebag committed a completely ridiculous penalty giving the Bucs an extra 15 yards. Like Philly was EVER going to get the ball back. Yeah...but they covered! Right. 2 minutes left and we watched the Eagles get slowly strangled by kneel downs. What happened to "you play the game to the end!!!" Gee whiz...I just don't know

Yes, the defense had nothing to do with that....
One drop in the EZ and one drop inside the 5 were the difference between 19 and 30 pts.

i guess you’ll give all the credit to the Miami D for keeping the Pats O to 16 pts?

Not really, the Bucs held themselves to 19
It was a weird game for both teams and it showed. I think both teams are glad it's done.

Doubtful that the Bucs will score under 20 this season again. I don't think BB "exposed" them like some are saying, they're pretty much still scoring at will. But the Pats defense did all right.

yes the Miami D was partly responsible for holding thee Patriots to 16 points. They have a good secondary and our OL collapses within 3 seconds from their DL

Claiming any time a team doesn't score that it's the offenses fault and defense had no effect on it is disingenuous and just trying to create a narrative. Drops are part of the game. If you play that game then if Taylor doesn't fumble the Patriots are up. If slater doesn't stay out of bounds so long then the fumble stands and Patriots are driving

See how that game goes?

The Eagles passing offense last night was a preview of what the Pats offense would be if they got Fields instead of Mac. Or if you prefer, Cam last year. Not good.
