Welcome to Week 4!

Thanks to @Ian, we are now competing for a beautiful brown betting champion banner for the season winner. Here are some updates and rule changes. This has been a work in progress trying to iron out everything. Thanks to suggestions from some of you guys, here is how the game will proceed moving forward:

* Betting lines will now include Over/Under numbers as well. If you are going to bet an O/U, simply type something like -- Jags/Bengals (Over) $5000
* Moving forward, everyone with a bankroll must be at least 10% of his bankroll each week. I am NOT going to be an anal DIngleberry and calculate the 10% exactly. If your bankroll is $40k to $49k, make sure to bet at least 4k. $50 to $59k, bet at least 5k...and so on. Obviously, you can bet more including your entire bankroll if you choose.
* If you do not make any bets in a week, your bankroll will be deducted by 10%. I know this sounds harsh, but it is a way to keep people betting and encourage fluidity to the competition.
* The 7 players who already went bankrupt are invited back to the game with a bankroll of $10,000. To keep it fair, all of you currently in the game will see $10,000 has also been added to your bankroll below. Any of those folks invited back who do not bet with their new 10k this week will be out of the game going forward.
* This will be the final week I will allow new players. Anybody new this week will have a starting bankroll of $40k rather than the $50k we all started with. So next week we will have our final group of bettors competing for the brown banner.
* I am going to keep this game going through the playoffs--not just the regular season.

love this game so thanks for running it but the biggest thing I have learned is I need to be a bookie. 4/25 people who ”know” football have won money and none of them large amounts. Betting real money is for people who are bad at math.
