NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Week 17: NFL Other Games

This is unprecedented.

This is awful

here are the options I figure they have

1 finish game
2 finish game tomorrow/weds
3 Bills forfeit

Any other options? Push the whole schedule back a week?
Cancel the game and do the standings by win percentage could be another option.

Just to repeat: You've got a lot on your plate. People like myself, who have someone on ignore, can just go out to the "Forums" link and refresh until the thread started by the ignored person comes up. It's a pain in the ass, but that's a pain in the ass for us, who made the decision, not for you, who'd have to do extra work to incorporate the functionality.

@Deus Irae there are more important things happening right now than what people you have on ignore...

No, it's not. Re. my posts on Detroit Lions' Chuck Hughes, who died on the field vs. Bears in 1972.
See post 712.

This is… unprecedented.

How do you know?

from what I recall when I got my EMT an ambulance will also drive slowly to minimize potential movement of fractured vertebrae. They would also drive carefully leaving the field to avoid any risk of hitting someone or something in a congested area.

really should not be reading anything into it at all.
I don't know for sure except years ago when dale ernhart crashed in the daytona 500 the amnbulance left the track slowly and the reason that was given was that he was dead on the scene, therefore they didn't need to rush to the hospital. and if you have an emt you know there are reasons why an ambulance drives fast, slow, with its lights and sirens going when they need to he er or when the pt isn't in serious condition. At least thats what i was taught when i too and emt course in 2003

Yea he's shellshocked.
Seriously what else is he supposed to do, I wouldn’t want to have to talk about a young player in life threatening circumstances on national television for over an hour knowing the powers that he should just end the game and call the broadcast

Of course but if he gives the thumbs up to continue then he's a bigger ahole than I thought
What if both teams want to finish the game?

Agree. Impossible situation.
