It will be an absolute blowout. I mean, Allen won't even play the 2nd half because they'll be up 35-3.
We'll probably see Brissett play too.

Buffalo will get a big lead early. Meanwhile, Maye and the offense will be held in check with the lateral throws until the 4th quarter arrives where the Pats pad their stats and get their weekly two garbage time TD's.

Bills 41
Pats 17

And Milton Preseason game for us.

That's how bad our WR's are our Big armed QB is relegated to lateral throws.

Mayo is trying to appease the players. It's his only way forward in keeping his job.

I understand that Mayo was never gonna have a successful year..I know I was against the hiring the entire time. But it's not like I blame him for where we're at and he shouldn't be fired for it.

What I do blame him for is his lack of competence. He doesn't show signs as someone who gets it. The team is horribly coached and mismanaged on the field and that's on him. You don't have to be good but you atleast have to look like you know what you're doing, even if you can't actually do it.

He's not gonna be fired. And not because he hasn't earned it but because the boss simply can't do it without looking like a tool.

So we're gonna double down and waste another season next year and find our selfs in the exact same spot as we do today, all because nobody over there has a damn clue on what their doing.
You’re scaring me.

So the team got blown out on Sunday…

… canceled all meetings Monday…

… and now has Tuesday off…

… So they are only going to practice for 3 days (Wed-Thur-Fri) before flying to Buffalo on Saturday and playing on Sunday…

I’m sure it’ll go great
Yeah, this team has packed it in for the season and Mayo was the first to signal that the season is over.

Well said!!!!!! Curran mentioned today from information he's gotten is there will be change with the coaching staff.. the guy that unjustly will be the collateral damage is AVP. He's shown to be the most competent person on the coaching staff. He shouldn't be touched. My thing is if RK is going to make a change then everyone needs to go!

An interesting gauge of this game and where Krafty Bob's team stands as a franchise is a look back at NE v Buffalo matchups when the shoe was on the other foot - the Pats were a great team with a gaudy record leading the division and battling for a top playoff spot whilst hosting the Bills when they sucked....I did not cherry pick these years (felt 2010 was a good starting point with Brady two years removed from his ACL)....anyway...
2010 Pats beat a pesky Buffalo (4-12) team 38-30
2011 Pats beat Bills (6-10) 49-21 but Buffalo jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first Q
2012 Pats beat Bills (6-10) 37-31
2013 Pats beat Bills 34-20 but score is 16-10 in the 4th quarter
2014 - Pats rest starters, not applicable
2015 - Pats beat Bills (8-8) 20-13
2016 - Pats lose to Bills (7-9) 16-0 (Brissett started w Jimmy G hurt)
I stopped at 2016 because in 2017 Buffalo was decent in McDermott's first year
So what we have here are many examples of very weak often last place Bills teams going into Foxboro playing competitive games vs the Patriots, who in each of these seasons were a bye week team (one of the top two in the conference).
So this week, we have a weak, last place Patriots team heading into a Buffalo club making a push for the #1 seed. Somehow Buffalo managed to remain competitive vs the Patriots when faced with the same situation for the better part of seven seasons.
Buffalo coaches during that span? A murderer's row of coaching intelligentsia the likes of Chan Gailey, Doug Marrone, and Rex Ryan.
Can Kraft's show and tell exhibit Jerod Mayo pull off what those three modern day Knute Rocknes pulled off - remain competitive with the top team in the AFC? Somehow I doubt it.
Time will tell....

Patriots are a shoe-in for another record.

well, at least Buffalo's defense kinda sucks, so we should be able to put some points up. There's that.

Hard to see a path to victory here. The defense is a mess and it’s not that much about lack of talent. We can’t cover, we can’t tackle, we can’t set the edge. The defense sucks at their fundamentals and this falls on the coaching.

Meanwhile Drake Maye has the capacity to hang points on the Bills defense but does the rest of the offense? The OL and receivers have been ass.

They need to let Maye play freely, go for big plays and just hope that the defense can notch turnovers.

I never got the "wouldn't pee on you if you were on fire" figure of speech. I get that it sounds like you'd just let them burn but really, it sounds like you'd only be adding insult to injury by peeing on someone who's burning to death. It's not like the pee would put out the fire?
Unless you have Gosder Cherilus peeing on you.

Perfect put! Best way to describe the defense is lack of fundamentals, lack of discipline. Also I don't believe peppers or Barmore is playing at 100%. However they look like they quit on alot of plays at times. Dugger has been bad this season and I've seen him play at an all pro level have to think he's dealing with something. Gonzo is an all pro.. but like Drake on offense he has no help. Just like you said let Drake air it out I hope he gets some PI calls.
