Yes, the team with the lower SOS gets the better draft pick because in essence they lost to overall “worse” teams. If both teams are 4-13 but one has a SOS of .520 and the other has a SOS of .530 then the .520 team is worse because the teams they faced were not as good on average. The .530 team was more likely to lose due to facing tougher teams.

Yeah, Lawrence was the last “generational” QB and he hasn’t been that good. Meanwhile the next year Burrow wasn’t hailed as anything that amazing but he’s a lot better.

Cooks has one of the weirdest careers I can think of in NFL.

6 1k+ seasons, 9k+ yards in 10 seasons yet bounced through 5 different teams in 10 years. He also never has any trouble on or off the field.

Borderline hall of fame numbers and yet he never stuck with any team. He has great hands too. I don't get it.

Miami winning keeps the Chiefs further away from HFA beyond game 1 of the playoffs so not the worst result.

Miami just had a game winning drive consisting almost exclusively of 6 yard slants and YAC. Crazy what having a good supporting cast can do for a mediocre QB.
