We can totally win this game the way our D is playing. If Zappe can continue to progress like he has, no reason we can't spank this Chiefs team.

Bill might get the defense to play well enough because he seems to always have something good dialed up against this team. But zero chance they win. Less than 0. The Chiefs are a top 3-5 defense in the league. Zeke would need to have the best game of his life for us to have a shot in this.

Bill might get the defense to play well enough because he seems to always have something good dialed up against this team. But zero chance they win. Less than 0. The Chiefs are a top 3-5 defense in the league. Zeke would need to have the best game of his life for us to have a shot in this.

I don't expect a win. I will not be surprised if we get one, though. The D is solid. Zappe will have the most prep and continuity he's had. BOB will have a better idea of what Zappe and the Motley Crew of receivers can do. My biggest concerns are Elliot being used like a rented mule and the random foul-ups of Achord's ST. I can see this game being close and given away on a ST bungle.

Mahomes always figures it out. When they beat them twice in 18/19 it was the first half defense/game plan that stymied Mahomes and Reid and they came storming back in the 2nd half. This team had Brady, Gronkowski, Edelman etc to still keep scoring to hold them off. Either way, kudos to BB and the coaches to atleast slow them down in both first halves.

Granted. KC doesn’t have Hill or Hunt on the roster anymore. But this team doesn’t have Brady anymore either.

KC is a enigma this year, No idea which team is going to show up. Their division plays them well just like ours did when we were good, but they are 6-4 and some would say should be 5-5 with the bail out calls vs the Jets. In truth, Mahomes might be the best QB of the last few years but they haven’t been getting it done this year and the points on the scoreboard don’t lie. A lot of teams have hung with them and they aren’t putting on the thrusters like they have in season past late. We may have the some of the worst receivers in the league and aside from Kelce(the Wr, er TE) the Chiefs are just a notch above the Patriots.

KC’s defense is severely underrated and I think they are gonna smoke this Patriots team. They haven’t allowed over 21 points all year and you could make the argument that the defense has been the strength of that team this season.

The KC D is darn good this year, but didn't KC just give up 27 to the Packers? 24 to the Broncos? I don't see any Opp defensive scores like Pick 6s or Fumble return for TDs, so it looks like the KC D gave that all up. Exception can be made for 3 due to Mahomes INT in KC territory vs Broncos.

Henry, Juju and Thornton looked good… it was never the weapons and always the QB. Get that young man some more weapons.

Agreed.. as it has all season.. this game is on the defense. I think we hold Mahomes in check but ultimately the Chiefs win. When we did face Mahomes we always had a lockdown corner. JC is good for 2 penalties a game.
