If they feel the QB’s coming out are the real deal then yes. Arizona wasn’t afraid to move on from Rosen after only one year.

I'm with you, we absolutely should take a QB. But I'm thinking here.. ownership cares about perception, and how they are viewed across the league. I have this hunch they are going to sign a veteran like say cousins, draft a QB, add some guys at WR. They are going to want to get back into contention quickly.

I vote Zappe. Despite NOT thinking he’s the answer, I believe a franchise needs to - at the very least - gives a semblance of trying to win.

The players, the fans, the coaches : winning is the goal.

Watching the Ratbirds, they get as little pressure without blitzing as the Pats, so they’re a good defense but will have a rough time in the playoffs if they keep this up. When I watch them I often focus on Travis Jones, who I wanted the Pats to take instead of Thornton. Alas, he isn’t as good as Godchaux or Guy IMHO.

Stroud will likely be OROY, deservedly so, and Bijan Robinson deserves a lot of love too, but if I were a voter I’d pick Nacua, not that I think he’s more deserving than Stroud, but he is really a good player.

Whatever happens this offseason I hope the Pats figure out how to rank prospects in a way that leads them to pick guys like Nacua who produce right away rather than a Thornton, Boutte, J. Andrews, K. Harris, P. Strong, etc. who require “redshirt“ seasons. Additionally their failure to get guys on the field and production is an indictment of their position coaches.
