Zach Wilson is being outduelled by Taysom Hill going 8-23 for 86 yards. He’s so terrible the Jets would have to consider cutting bait after a year except there are no worthy QB prospects this draft.

I hope they do draft another qb. Darnold, Wilson, and third charm guy lol.

THis is why getting drafted 1st overall or even within the top 5 isn't always the best for a player...Mac ended up with a world class organization that just so happened to have an average year in 2020.

Khan is the anti-George Steinbrenner. He believes in giving his coaches a few years before canning them. The problem in Jax is not just that their coaching has been bad...it's the whole culture brought in by Meyers. The team is falling apart, with players walking out on meetings, etc. Khan may not have a choice but to fire him.

Choosing Meyers in the first place says a WHOLE lot. I mean, even Urban’s winning is hardly worth it when you consider that he has a penchant for leaving, for burning bridges, for bringing in players of very little character…

Trevor Lawrence had one great game in college against a talented team. The rest of the time he beat up on the woeful ACC - and he parlayed that into being drafted #1 overall.

I think the organizational dysfunction, and lack of supporting cast, explains why a rookie would struggle. But I don’t think it fully accounts for why a “once in a decade quarterback” is this ineffective. If a guy is gunslinging, per the plan, he should have more than 9 TD passes in 14 games. People talk about Manning’s 28 INTs his rookie year, but he threw 26 TDs too.

I’m officially skeptical about Lawrence.
