The betting results for Week 14 and current rankings are posted below. This was a record week for winnings. As a result (out of petty vindictiveness) I have forwarded information on all of you to the IRS.
Chevy has retaken the #1 spot with an impressive $30k week. And Ring 6 has joined the club as the 4th person to go above 100k. Amazingly, we now have 14 people above 50k and thus qualifying for the playoffs. We have never had more than 10 before this week. Those below 50k can certainly get there over the last 4 weeks of the season. But beware, one bad week can also put anyone below the playoff amount.
Irishfanatic is back from the dead with an incredible +$40,500 week. Since you are above the 50k mark, I took back the 10k you owed the casino. You are free and clear, my friend!
I also took a quick look at the midseason prop bets and noticed that two bets in particular are looking good and had a lot of play. Patriots to win the AFCE was +400 odds at the time. 6 of you put money on this one and stand to win anywhere from 8k to 20k if they win the division. Ford Prefect put 15k on this bet and will add 60k to his playoff bank roll if they win the division!
Brady is in good shape to win the passing yard title at +250 odds. 7 of us stand to win from $12,500 to 50k if he holds on.
There are many other bets that will add to playoff bank rolls, including Chiefs, Chargers, Rams, Cardinals, and other division winners. Then of course, the MVP and Conference winners will add big money to the bank rolls of many of you as the playoffs are in process.
These midseason prop payouts will add to your playoff and final bank roll. There will be a season champion declared at the end of Week 18 betting, and then there will be a final Playoff Champion. So, 2 banners in play.
