I did root for a team like them for decades - here...

I can only imagine how frustrating it must have been. I'm from Eastern Canada where interest in football is almost non-existent and I didn't really come to appreciate the sport until the Pats were well into their glory.

As much as I try to appreciate how awesome it is to be a Patriots fan, I obviously lack this perspective. Must make all the victories much sweeter!

I was a season tickets holder through the 70's ,80's and early nineties. We were a small but dedicated (20K) die hard fanbase that sat through biblical weather and losing seasons unfazed.

These last years with Kraft and BB ARE like dying and going to football nirvana, but since I became a Pats fan I thought the Raiders and Dallas and Steelers reigns were something we'd NEVER experience. Love being wrong about that...every single day.
