Remember when the Pats had an offense that looked this unstoppable? Funny how one offseason can completely wreck a unit even when - on paper - a lot of the moves made sense or were at least somewhat justifiable (not overpaying Amendola, trading Cooks for a 1st). All the following moves were epic failures sadly.
I had no problem with these moves as I thought they were going to get younger, bigger and stronger at the position. I thought Ridley was going to be a target.
Had they not been able to land Gordon, this would’ve been a disaster.
Let's run an option on the goal line when you could've ran it up the gut with one of the best backs in the game. The defense is going to watch for the option or bootleg with a mobile QB. These playcalls are infuriating.
