Raiders are terribly coached because they're terribly managed because they're terribly owned. Orange bowl is doing his daddy proud by driving that franchise into the ground.
Like father, like son.
I just couldn't believe how "loose" their defense was last night. Even the DL were all lining up with huge gaps, the LBs 6/7 yards back. Saw little teamwork, few stunts, if any, no swarming to the ball. It's like, "You're good. Get out there and beat your guy to the QB" sandlot football watching them. You open huge swaths of the field against the Chiefs? Lol.
And after Kelce's 900th, catch of the night, maybe, you know, cover him?
Watching flashes of LAC, Denver, Raiders...the dangerous team in the west remains, solidly, the Chiefs. They're a SB contender - they're still beat up (even from last year) and top heavy.
I said it at the time, though: Baltimore handing them Orlando Brown was about as stupid a move as I've ever seen. They filled the glaring weakness and made it a strength for THE team they had to prove they could beat to get to the Superbowl. It would be like the Pats trading Wilfork to the Colts back in the day. Utter stupidity.
Brown and Thuney on the left side of that line are money.
