NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Week 10: Other NFL games

You're going to hate that Taulia might have a shot at the NFL.

Who knows…not all brothers have the same mental makeup.

The thing is: there were big concerns about Tua’s accuracy and his IQ coming out of college. And another story this last offseason that he didn’t know the playbook. I just think it’s very noticeable. He doesn’t know what the hell he’s looking at out there, and he doesn’t have the speed or physical talent to overcome that. Not even close.

Everyone says Alabama made Mac, when in fact Bama made Tua. Mac was a major reason his last team there was so good. Tua had considerably more receiver talent than Mac did after Waddle was lost.

How freakin lucky were the Steelers to draw Detroit when Roethlisberger gets COVID. The one team where you can lose your QB and still be favored to win.

Yeah, all this is gonna do is create more insufferable bragging out of Pittsburgh and Tomlin pounding his chest even harder. With it being this late in the week though I wonder how it will affect his status for next Sunday VS LAC, thats a game they would lose without him.

who is everybody?

Bills going to be without Lotulelei for at least two games because he is unvaccinated.

Honestly, I'd say Vick was a little better both passing and running.

That's not sour grapes over us passing on Jackson or because he played for the Ravens. He's probably in my top 3 of highly athletic QBs but Vick is my #1 and Jackson is probably my #2 ahead of Cunningham.
Memories. Daughter got married on that November 4th Sunday in 2001 when the Pats played Atlanter & shiny new QB Vick. Fortunately I'd recently bought a Mark One Tivo and recorded the game. Late that night as wife & I returned from the wedding we were still wired so we watched Brady & the Pats destroy Vick & the Falcons. Had no idea we'd be in the SB although playoffs were in our thoughts.

Agree with your mobile QB rankings. Vick could throw an accurate rope 50 yards.

Takes last year off because of Covid concerns then doesn’t get vaccinated. What a dope. I also find it hard to believe that nobody else on the Bills was a close contact (to him) this week.

hard to argue that. Vick had a better arm imo and looked a bit faster

I absolutely loved Vick as a player but let's keep it real.

Vick struggled mightily to complete 50% of his passes pretty much his entire career. Jackson came in the league and is more accurate and consistent. Check out the stats if you don't believe me. Comp % definitely isn't the end all, be all but you can't ignore the obvious either. Also had a life or death struggle to hit > 5/6 ANY/A early on and as a full-time starter. Lamar is just more consistent and accurate.

Peak years I'm taking Jackson pretty easy as he's eclipsed anything Vick did in his 2nd-3rd year. Vick passed for 20 and 21 TD just twice in his career. Jackson passed for 80 + in 3.5 years.

Again I loved Vick the player, don't think it comes as a surprise I was a fan lol but strong disagree as a passer.

Does it make a difference the QB friendly era Jackson is playing in compared to Vicks?

Great story! Hope their marriage has lasted longer than Bill & Brady's did...

Yea I'm not ignoring the obvious in that regard but let's not forgot it really wasn't that long ago (2010-2012). And I while I'm a big believer in alt timelines. If Vick landed in this era or with this team. I'm not sure how much more accurate he'd be.

Again I'd encourage people to look at the stats. Vick really, really struggled early on passing the ball. And Jackson surpassed his peak years in his first 3-4 years.

Brady having a tough time against WFT, 2 picks already.

Lions proving just how hapless they are lol Getting dominated by Mason Rudolph

How bad were the picks? Obviously aren’t watching live.

So Mike White is not the second coming of Brady?

If the Lions can pull off this game vs. the Steelers that'd be sweet.

Goff is 4/7 for 11 yards at the start of the 3rd quarter Yet the Lions are tied with Pitt. Swift is crushing them on the ground but Detroit can do nothing whatsoever through the air.

Adding insult to insult, the Cows got a strip sack, scored another TD before the half, and then went for 2 to make it a five-score game, 36–3 at the half.
