KC's 4th and 1 plays seem to be so carefully thought out and well scripted... like they call a play with several options built in and then audible to the right one and it looks easy. LAC on the other hand... do a called run to the left and hope. Yeah they got it.... but it felt more like luck than anything else.

The play calling is such a huge advantage for KC. Reid's play design can't be over stated.

My feel on Herbert is this... He has talent and can deliver the ball... But it just feels like he doesn't have a great head for the game... He doesn't have great feel for pressure... he often doesn't play to the situation well and when things don't go as scripted he feels kind of locked in a limited option set. His safety valve or run... He seems to not look at anything else.

He has and will do well based on his talent and fundamentals... But he lacks that game feel.

Edit: I'm going to make a very Charger like comparison... He seems like this generation's Phillip Rivers. A guy who has all the tools and will forever be on the doorstep of a true elite. But the game won't ever slow down for him like it does for the true greats.

Same feel for Dak and Romo.
