I doubt his mindset has changed. This team did in fact invest in offense after he signed that deal. They didn't keep Branch, which I think stung Brady at the time, but that was about not overpaying and I know he gets that too. He has said in the past that their financial discipline is to be admired, even if it stings you from time to time.
He'll get his and it will be in range, just not the bar setter that some fear and others can't fathom him not demanding.
