That's my order as well. 1)Elite pass rusher 2)OT replace Light 3) OG/C maybe not if we resign Mankins 4)RB a big bruiser.

I think G/C is a much bigger priority at this point. We already have Vollmer to take over for Light after he retires, but I don't think that will be for a another couple of years. Light's still a solid LT. We also have Kaczur as a backup.

What we need are prospects on the interior. We have no serious contenders for a starting job other than Connolly. Even with Mankins, we need a replacement for Stephen Neal/Dan Koppen, especially Koppen who is starting to lose it. Without Mankins, our interior OL looks old, fairly weak, and injury prone. Wendell is a backup. Connolly is solid but only fills 1 out of 3 spots.

If we believe that one of the elite corners available can become a lock down corner I think that's where we have to go with our first pick.

Really the Patriots will go with the player they feel is the best (almost) regardless of position.
