First of all don't expect much unless there is a labor deal. The Krafts are to close to this and have already said they are not giving out long term deals until they have economic certainty. So Tom Brady could go into his final year. The FA list is pathetic, I mean some of these guys should have been locked up.
Gostkowski, Mankins, Wilfolk, Neal, Bodden, Jarvis Green, Faulk.
Their talent is so thin they can't really afford to lose any of them. But they probably won't sign any of them. They might franchise Wilfolk.
They better offer Ski some real money or he'll be a Cowboy or Texan on day 1. The "genius" will think he can just draft another K.
They also won't delve into FA that much. They should go after a wide out.
But the problems on this team are 3rd Wide out, No pass rush so that could be 1 player it could be 3, poor coverage and they could use more help on the o-line.
They need another good draft. Let's face it, 2010 is waste. Welker's injury won't help. Maybe in 2011 the Krafts will realize they have been cheaping out to long and that will wise them up. I wrote about this a month ago in my well-viewed bleacher article. It's over boys. We're back to the Pete Carroll days. This is no longer an elite franchise.
