Not that I’m aware of. But here’s his full opening statement
I think he is trying to avoid being a hardass about it to the local media covering the team when he is the one in hot water. He probably wants to maintain somewhat positive relationships. The problem with this press conference is that it doesn’t put the issue to bed. It just creates more questions.
If he had the affair and admitted to it he could have said this would be the only time it would be addressed. Moving forward it’s all football. This press conference didn’t do anything.
Yeah, I just read his quote out loud to my wife and she said the same, albeit with swear words and more anger. The closest he comes to anything like an admission is the "you have to make good decisions, that includes me" line.
Never admits he made a bad decision...
I suppose that this ticks the "I talked to the team and to the media" box, but really, nothing else.
I guess we'll find out if this is sufficient, or if more is required.
Yeah, not a fan of those. That speech was literally all foreplay. Never got down to business.
Huh...? Really? Most people I know don't even know this story exists. I wear my Pats stuff in enemy territory as normal, no one's said a word. I live in PA, trust me, Eagles fans would talk some **** if they wanted to. I think you are overthinking this.I don't want to walk around denver with my pats hat on cause this **** is shameful.
This is the closest we will get to an admission. The lack of any sort of denial speaks volumes. The problem with this press conference is that it doesn’t put the issue to bed. It just creates more questions.
If he had the affair and admitted to it he could have said this would be the only time it would be addressed. Moving forward it’s all football. This press conference didn’t do anything.
