Vrabel: Terrell Williams to miss next few days for "tests"

He has to take the year off and focus on his health.

Defense played well on Sunday. Hoping that can continue. At least they can prepare knowing he won't make the flight
I'm not certain I want to agree that the defense played well. Maybe for a quarter. Whether it was scheme, play calling or talent, it was not adequate.

The stress of being the defensive coordinator vs defensive line coach has a lot to do with it i believe. There has to be a much greater level of stress being a DC than a behind the scenes Dline coach.

Let's do him a favor and move on.

"The D" did not play well. We gave up a lot of big plays in the pass game. The DL played pretty well and totally shut down the run - which is good, and what you expect from a DL coach calling plays.

Problem is - the secondary looked disorganized. And truthfully, the LB's were lost too. So, I'm all in favor of having Kuhr take over play calling. He did that during install and minicamps while Williams was gone most offseason.

Seriously, what are we doing here? Williams should have stepped aside for the year to focus on his health before the season ever started. Just an awful start to the Vrabel era.
There's already a thread for this:

They gave up 9 plays of 20 yards or more including one crucial 3rd and 20 when they decided to send a zero blitz.

I'm honestly tired of reading about this guy, because every time I do it has nothing to do with football. Should have stepped aside to focus on his health before the season even started. Maybe don't hire a morbidly obese coach next time.

People around you should have hugged you a little more as a kid

Holy **** what if his parents had named him Nick?!
It's bad enough as is. I can hear the classroom snickers from throughout his childhood still echoing wherever he goes. It's a "get tough or die" Boy named Sue kinda deal.

what Vrabel did say is that the current situation is not related to the prior situation.
I agree both he and the team need to take some time.
Yeah
That means he has 2 different situations
Serious enough to mention it at 2 different press conferences
Time for Williams to take some time off and get his health in order
He seems like a nice guy. Players love him

D broke down badly on first LV TD
