Vrabel’s punt on 4th and 2

It stuck out to a lot of people watching. Could see it if they were up, not down though.

SMH, didn’t get Vrabel doing that....and the punt was turrabul

I was surprised they did not go for it as they needed to make a play at some point and that is not too difficult. Their inability to run all game killed them and assume it weighed on his decision.

Maybe he was too busy head butting one of his players again and lost track of his balls in that situation...

I bet Vrabel told Bill to punt in SB42 on 4th & 13

4th and 2? maybe he remembered the colts game...

The difference is we were on our own side of the field in that infamous Colts game, making the call less obvious than today's.

With this being in the playoffs. This might actually be considered the worst punt of all time.

The moment he made that decision, Tennessee deserved to lose.

Cowardly is a good word to use in this instance.

An even worse decision was two straight passes after 2nd and 2 just before the punt.
Yes, the was horrible. Henry finally had an 8 yard pick up on 1st down. just run Henry until you get the first! They are not a passing team to begin with.

Absolutely, completely, inarguably, 100% WRONG.

But thanks for playing...Parting gifts are available on your way out...
4 point game 10 minutes left in the 4th and a good punter. It's bad but it's not all-time cowardly bad

Im sorry you don’t understand the game.

I could understand it if it was 4th and 5 or if they were winning/tied but since it was only 2 yards and they were already at the 40 there is not enough downside to not go for it. That situation must be at least 50/50 for success. If you make it you are already in FG range with a decent shot at driving for a TD. The expected upside of punting is only 25 - 30 yards in field position.
