Vrabel’s punt on 4th and 2

It's not the absolute horrible mistake everyone is making it out to be. You're down 4 with 10min, and have held the Ravens to 17. I think most actual coaches would think that's the safe playoff call. However, the stupid thing was calling 2 passes on 2nd & 3rd down when you have a 2000yd rusher on the bench.

Also, too much time left on the clock in a one score game to be controversial either they go for it or not.

Henry was hurt or something.

He had only 40 yards. @ 18 carries = 2.22 ypc.

Definitely a little bit of a weird one but 10 minutes is a lot of time down less than 1 score... it's not the worst decision ever, if they pinned Baltimore inside the 5 or 10 and held them they'd probably have had a different outcome. Obviously it did not work out though.

"Just decided to punt. Thought we were playing well defensively...play the field position game." - Vrabel

Ok, let me get this straight: you thought your defense was playing well, but you didn't have enough faith in them to let the Ravens have it on the 40 if you didn't make it on 4th down. And to the part about the field position game: you were punting from the 40--a good punt from there is maybe 30 yards. So you're trading a 30-yard punt for what would likely be a 40+ yard punt.

Does anyone know if this guy plays poker?

Don't get this at all. Last time we saw this guy he was showing off how smart he was by using a loophole in the rule book to milk time off the clock. Now he can't figure out when to go for it or punt. What an idiot.

Vrabel has been making some poor coaching decisions lately.

Punting with 10 minutes remaining isnt a bad choice considering Derrick Henry was basically non existent, Corey Davis out and AJ Brown playing hurt.

happens a lot to people who build lots of muscle

If you don't maintain that muscle, it turns to fat
Sorta. In my case you eat a lot to gain a lot of muscle. Then you stop working out but you keep eating a lot lol so the muscle is lost and the fat comes in

Punting would have been better than going for it in that situation. Of course kicking a FG was best option.
57 Yarder with Gostowski.

Then Tannyhill should've called his own number, for once.

Tomlin punted on 4th and 1 down three scores on Sunday (and they had a false start)

Or he’s beginning a precipitous decline. Happens to all of them... especially when they’re handed the rock as much as Henry.

Henry was burned out from his 250 yard game vs Houston.

Again, Vrabel needed to govern the amount of carries Henry had and get ready for the post season. Last post season Henry had 182 yards vs NE and 195 Yards vs Baltimore. By the time Tennessee got to KC, Henry was spent @ 69 yards.

The Titties' OL sucked all game Sunday...There was nothing open between the Tackles where he earns his living...Yet that gutless idiot Vrabel kept running him there on first down even after it had become painfully obvious that it wasn't working at all...
