It's mind-boggling to me that he has a very coveted job- covering the Patriots for the biggest regional newspaper and he isn't interested in learning about the game, in contrast to the hyper-motivated Evan Lazar who, remarkably, is a self-educated fan like the rest of us.

In a perfect world, Evan Lazar would have Volin's job, and Volin would be slinging diarrhea for CSLN, an internet outlet nobody has ever heard of.
